The Genuine Stromberg 97 carburetor with choke lever and bracket is built to the original Stromberg blueprint specification with key improvements. It features a black lacquered cast iron base, a factory-set brass float made in the USA, and a reinforced airhorn lid to prevent leaks. This model includes an exact re-issue of the original Stromberg cable choke lever and bracket, as used on special aftermarket 97s made for 1949-53 Ford models. It offers 162cfm airflow out of the box, and like any carburetor, proper installation and tuning are necessary for optimal performance. Installation instructions are included. Please note that the cable choke bracket should be mounted on the rear carburetor, and the cable should be brought forward for use in the center carburetor of a 3x2 setup. Original hand throttle parts are not included.
