The Genuine Stromberg Big 97 Primary carburetor offers 250cfm airflow and significantly improved fuel circuits. It features ported vacuum capability for modern aftermarket distributors and can be used on its own, in multiples with direct or progressive linkage, or as part of the BIG97 Tri-Power system. The regular BIG97 model comes with the standard 97 choke lever designed to fit early Ford solid rod chokes. For vehicles with a cable type choke, the 9510A-BIG-C model is available, which includes the original Stromberg cable choke lever and bracket used on special aftermarket 97s made for 1949-53 Ford models. Please note that the cable choke bracket is typically mounted on the rear carburetor, and the cable is brought forward to the center carburetor due to tight carb spacing. The Genuine Stromberg Big 97 Primary carburetor requires proper installation and tuning for optimum performance, and installation instructions are provided. Original hand throttle parts are not included.
