The Stromberg e-Fire 3 Bolt Distributor is designed for 1932-41 Ford Flathead engines. It features reliable electronic ignition with a 12-volt negative ground setup. The distributor eliminates the need for points, condenser, and a black (or red) box. It has a simple two-wire hook-up for easy installation. The OE-style timing adjuster and stock black cap provide a traditional look. The distributor includes an old-school performance tag with a unique ID. It can trigger most multi-spark CD ignitions. The e-FIRE distributor from Stromberg is a new product specifically designed for flathead Ford engines, offering electronic ignition, easy installation, and simple set-up. It delivers higher efficiency, improved economy, and accurate spark timing. The distributor is compact in size, making it suitable for hot rod builds. It requires a points-style coil with a resistance of at least 3.0 Ohms (Ω) or 1.5 Ohms with a ballast resistor. Low-resistance or HEI-style coils should not be used.
