The New 97 Base Vacuum Ported is a complete replacement base (throttle body) for your Stromberg 97 carburetor. It features a ported vacuum fitting that provides ported vacuum advance for your distributor. The base comes with all-new components, including a throttle shaft and plates, kicker, choke lever, idle mixture screws, and necessary gaskets. It is designed to add the all-important distributor vacuum port to your carburetor. Please note that this base is not compatible with the 1949-53 Ford flathead Loadamatic distributor and is intended for use with distributors that are compatible with ported vacuum. Installation and timing instructions are included.
