The Chevy Gear Reduction Starter is a lightweight, high-torque starter designed to fit small block and big block Chevy V8 engines. It offers improved clearance for headers and oil pans compared to original equipment starters. With its 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio, it provides cranking power for engines with compression ratios up to 18:1. The starter comes with mounting bolts included and has undergone dyno testing. It weighs approximately 8.0 lbs.
